Your wedding colors will set the tone of your event. I read many articles on the internet and in magazines each week. It still amazes me the broad range of colors out there to pick from. Here are some ideas for you to think about:
Hottest Color: Coral and Gray
Happy: Yellow and Gray
Classic: Red and Black
Modern Classic: Red and Warm Beige
Tropical: Yellow and Golden Orange
Fun: Turquoise and Red
Vintage: Dusty Olive and Pink Champagne
There are several ways to go about choosing your wedding colors. One approach is to choose one main color and to use different shades of that color. You might choose blue and have your bridesmaids wear pale blue dresses; bright-blue delphinium would highlight the bouquets and a grayish-blue paper would be used for invitations and place cards. Another idea that works well is to surround one bright color with neutrals. Perhaps you love the color coral. You might use that color sparingly, accenting it with whites, ivory and tan. Always remember that there are colors that seem to work together better than others.
